History
Established in 1876, Fullers Foods can now boast over 130 years of experience, serving the food industry. Harry Fuller began his family business selling fruit and vegetables from a barrow in Leeds Market, later establishing what became, generations later, the largest fruit and vegetable stall in the Market.

THROUGH THE YEARS

The Fullers stall employed, at its height, over 250 people and dominated the indoor, covered market.

The business was grown, as it still is today, using family money and family expertise and moved to buying and selling, processing, manufacturing and distributiing in the early seventies.

In the late sixties Fullers became one of the first companies to begin retailing frozen food – in Leeds Market. The move into frozen food required supply and cold storage facilities – the first being in Leeds.

The growth of the company, along with the greater efficiency and response required by today’s customers, has led to the partnership arrangements which now operate the logistics arm of the business, supplying cold storage facilities and a fleet of over 150 trucks.
